Walker

He is no Texas Ranger, but nonetheless, Drostan is a walker. He has been teasing us for several weeks. As soon as he could crawl he would crawl over to anything he could and pull himself up on it. That soon progressed to pulling himself up and then letting go and standing there. Then he just kind of stopped there and was happy with that. Then he decided he could walk as long as he had something to hold onto. So Cassie and I went to Target (sorry Justin) and bought him a little walker. He loves it. He chases Dad and runs into the wall, great fun for little boys.

At times he has become quite the little chatterbox as well. You can see in the first video he jabbers quite proficiently. The second video is one of his first attempts at walking unassisted. He has been practicing all day and is doing even better now. However, our 81/2 year old camera is starting to show its age and may need to soon be replaced. Don't worry about the fall in the third video, no blood no foul, right? It actually looks worse than it really was.

What a cutie! I can't believe he's walking already! I'm sure he'll be running by the next time we see him!

He is getting so big! I am so excited for him. He looks so pleased with himself too.
